The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi is proud to announce that it has officially received Green Hotel Certification from the Tourist Accommodation Premises Grading Panel (PPP) of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) Malaysia.
The certification is awarded to properties that meet a stringent set of criteria that evaluate ESG in line with Malaysia’s 2030 Sustainable Tourism Goals. The accreditation was approved at Panel Meeting No. 2 of 2026, recognizing the resort’s continued commitment to sustainability, environmental management and responsible tourism practices. This esteemed certification is valid until 2029.
