‘Silicon Valley’ star Thomas Middleditch makes a surprise appearance at TechCrunch Disrupt 2025

If you wandered around the Expo Hall during TechCrunch Disrupt 2025, or looked at our pitch stage earlier Tuesday, you may have noticed a familiar face from Pied Piper. Thomas Middleditch, who starred in HBO’s hit “Silicon Valley” show in 2014, which featured Disrupt prominently, had a planned takeover of Australian startup (and Battlefield 200 competitor) Othelia’s presentation on the pitch showcase stage.
