The alleged victim of Harvey Weinstein wants him to suffer

Sokola told us exclusively: “Jessica is a very brave woman who has experienced a lot, and I hope she will find her solution … At the moment I believe that the most important thing is to find justice and show strength for women, instead of for Harvey, who will probably spend the rest of his life in prison.”

She added: “Criminal Court has its limitations when it comes to witness, but this case is greater than Harvey. It’s about showing women that it is necessary and is worth opening and talking about the abuse they have experienced.

“In my opinion, the next process feels more like sorting out the legal system than just Harvey’s case. I hope with all my heart that it will make us all know that he deserves it – guilty.”

Weinstein, 73, was accused of sexual abuse by Sokola, Mann and former Project Runway Production assistant Miriam Haley, charges he denied because his defense had claimed that the sexual encounters were all “transactional” and “consensual”.
