AROYA Cruises returns to Jeddah in May for Red Sea sailings | News

AROYA Cruises, the first Arabian cruise line, is currently en route to its Red Sea home port of Jeddah, where it will resume scheduled sailings in May.

The upcoming program includes multi-country itineraries across the Red Sea, with stops in Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Jordan, combining regional destinations with AROYA’s distinctive onboard experience.

The sailings start as scheduled on May 14 and include three-, four- and five-night itineraries from Jeddah to Yanbu in Saudi Arabia and Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt, in addition to a special itinerary visiting both Sharm El Sheikh and Aqaba in Jordan.

Designed to offer flexibility and convenience, the itineraries are aimed at guests looking for shorter holidays, particularly families, multi-generational travelers and groups. With accessible departures from Jeddah, the program offers the opportunity to experience a range of Red Sea destinations in addition to AROYA’s signature Arabian hospitality, diverse dining, entertainment and culturally distinctive experiences.

The return of AROYA Cruises follows strong demand for Red Sea sailings, with more than 122,000 guests sailing with the cruise line in the first two seasons. The program also precedes AROYA Cruises’ second Mediterranean season, running from June to mid-September 2026, as part of the cruise line’s year-round offering. The seven-night itineraries depart from Galataport Istanbul and visit destinations in Türkiye, the Greek Islands and Alexandria, Egypt.

Sture Myrmell, President of AROYA Cruises, commented: “Our return to the Red Sea reflects the strong response we have seen during our first two seasons in the region. It also highlights the strength of our offering, which combines highly sought-after destinations with Arabian hospitality and an onboard experience designed for a broad mix of travelers. This return also leads into our Mediterranean season this summer, an exciting part of AROYA’s year-round offering.”
