Former e! Newstatheer Lilliana Vazquez responds to the cancellation of Show
Former E! News host Lilliana Vazquez Weighs the shockllation of the show.
“Like a former host of E! News – Here is my very honest response to the cancellation! “Vazquez, 45, ended a Tiktok video on Thursday, July 24 and early followers if they were” really surprised “by the news.
“I can talk about this because I was the former host of E! News“Vazquez started her video.” No, I am not surprised. “
US Weekly confirmed that on Thursday, July 24 E! News was canceled in the air after more than 30 years. The current iteration of the show is organized by Keltie Knight And Justin Sylvesterwho did not publicly tackle the cancellation outside Knight’s Tiktok to the song “6 months later” Megan Moroney. The last episode of the show will be broadcast on 25 September (((E! News is set to continue as a digital brand.)
Vazquez explained that she “left the show” in 2021 after she is “the shortest regular host” in the show.
“Not because I did something wrong, or our show did something wrong, but I registered and organized myself in December 2019 until March 2020. If you dare to remember what happened in March 2020, our show went out of the sky as the host,” she continued. “When it came back, it came back in a completely different form and I was no longer with the network.”
Vazquez claimed that “writing on the wall was” for E! News When she was hired as a host. At the time, Vazquez lived in New York City – where the show moved for a short period – and organized the live version.

Vazquez clarified that her performance about the cancellation is about “the identity of the show” and the “relevance that no longer exists for a show like E! News. “
She explained that Tiktok and other social media platforms have replaced traditional forms of entertainment news.
“To think that you get an authentic honest version of entertainment news about Air, not possible boys. There were so many contact points in every story that went into the air,” Vazquez claimed. “There were puppet players behind the scenes. It is a PR machine and entertainment news are in fact agents of PR machines.”
She concluded: “All this to say, no, I am not surprised. Am I sad? Yes, because this show cancellation means that hundreds of people have lost their jobs.”
