Richard Pacheco called the head of Global Partnerships near Nielsen

Richard Pacheco was appointed to supervise the global partnership strategy for Nielsen. He will report to Akhil Parekh, the main product officer of the measuring company.

As part of his duties, Pacheco will work on maintaining and building new alliances with various AD tech companies, and to follow their role in helping Nielsen to stimulate new innovations and better business results for marketers. He will also collaborate with the Nielsen business development team to identify new growth opportunities.

“Customer -oriented innovation is a driving force behind many of the industrial solutions that we pioneer and create,” said Parekh, in a prepared explanation. “A large part of guaranteeing success for our customers is to ensure that we have the right types of cooperation options to help them further stimulate growth and value for their companies. Rich brings that strategic, large thinking and the ability to connect the dots through his various industrial background and we are pleased to welcome him in the Nielsen family.”

Pacheco recently led strategic partnerships and business development in Mediaocean, a company that helps advertisers in managing and following the results of their campaign. Before that he was head of business development at 4C Insights, who acquired Mediaocean. Pacheco has worked in development at Spanish -speaking media company Univision.

“Nielsen is at the forefront of measuring innovation and I am looking forward to continuing that inheritance for our customers through cooperation and a strategic, progressive approach,” Pacheco said in a statement. “By working together, we can unlock new growth opportunities and frontiers in the advertising technical sector for both our customers and industry.”
