The model and social media influencer — who once famously dated Kanye West — took center stage in Milwaukee on Monday night, where she was once one of the featured speakers for night #1 … and she certainly rose to the occasion and delivered a compelling message.
Amber Rose gives a powerful speech at the RNC Convention:
“I’m not a politician and I don’t want to be, but I do care about the truth, and the truth is that the media has lied to us about Donald Trump. I know this because for a long time I believed those lies, so I’m here to… pic.twitter.com/MUGxhSP0wj

AR got into the backstory of how she came to support Trump and become a Republican – and the way she tells it… it all has to do with challenging her father, a DT backer.
Listen to the anecdote: Amber says she found out her father supported Trump and vehemently opposed it… that is, until he challenged her to prove everything she said about the man, including the idea that he used to be. racist/bigoted, etc. …and she tried.
Amber says she’s been down the MAGA rabbit hole – studying Trump rallies and talking to red hat wearers… and along the way she says she’s realized everything she thought she knew about Trump was BSand labels them as left-wing lies promoted by the mainstream media.
She goes on to say that eventually came to revelation that the MAGA crowd was actually her people… and Amber further argued that life was better everywhere under DT.

As Amber made her comments – which were incredibly well received – Trump sat in the audience watching and apparently appreciating what he heard, smiling broadly. When she finally wrapped herself up, he rose to his feet and gave her a thunderous applause.
By all accounts…Amber was effective in her speech, and some have suggested she reached a new audience that Republicans typically fail to connect with.
All in all…pretty damn good for DT and the GOP, whoever chose her chose well.
