‘The White Lotus,’ ‘Succession’ that comes to Korea’s Coupang game

In a blockbuster streaming deal, the Korean streamer Coupang Play has an important content partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery inked who will bring some of the most praised series of HBO and Max to Korean viewers from 21 March.
The agreement provides current and future seasons of Premium titles, including “Game of Thrones”, “Succession”, “House of the Dragon” and “Euphoria”, in addition to fan favorites such as “Sex and the City” and “Band of Brothers” to the Coupang streaming platform.
Coupang Play will only premiere the third season of “The White Lotus”, in particular Blackpink’s Lisa who makes her acting debut. The platform will also stream season 2 of the post-apocalyptic hit ‘The Last of Us’.
In addition to HBO Originals, subscribers have access to selected Max Originals, including “and just like that …” and “The Pitt”, Plus Blockbuster Warner Bros. -Films, including “Barbie”, “Wonka”, “Shazam! Fury of the gods,” and “Dune: Part Two” in the coming months.

The Strategic Content Alliance is an important expansion for Coupang Play, which offers original content, sports broadcasts and various entertainment options to domestic viewers via the streaming service.
