Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences, in partnership with DC Studios, today announced Superman Experience: Defenders Unite, a brand new walkthrough experience and live gameplay attraction, launching on Superman Day – April 18, 2026 – in Stage 5 at the iconic Warner Bros. Studios lot. Presented by Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood, Superman Experience offers guests the opportunity to unlock and hone their superpowers, work as a team and enjoy the illusion of flying alongside Superman through next-generation motion capture technology, active 3D glasses and high-definition audio. Superman Experience features an original storyline, created exclusively for the attraction, that transports guests to a world inspired by James Gunn’s 2025 blockbuster film “Superman.” In the Fortress of Solitude, guests are recruited by Superman himself and receive Kryptonian abilities to use during a crucial mission. Using immersive technology, guests can simulate taking to the skies with Superman and visiting various locations – including a training session at the Kent Farm with Krypto the Superdog – before joining Superman in an epic battle against DC supervillain Darkseid. The fate of the Earth hangs in the balance and only you and your team of new superheroes can help Superman save humanity.

Studio Tour Hollywood and DC Studios, allowing fans to create memories while celebrating the world’s greatest superhero.”
During the Superman Experience, guests’ scores are recorded and displayed in real time, while family-friendly competition raises the stakes as they train and fend off Darkseid’s invasion.
The central hub of the experience – focused on the Fortress of Solitude – will feature interactive mini-games, unique props and social media-worthy photo opportunities, including:
A life-size audio-animatronic Gary (Robot #4), Superman’s Kryptonian robot companion
Doghouse of Solitude mini-game where fans can play catch with Krypto
A two-player puzzle game where guests can activate the Phantom Zone Projector
As guests complete the activities listed above – along with more activities yet to be revealed – the Chaos Crystal on display will activate the entire Fortress of Solitude
Guests can also grab a drink or themed snack in the Fortress of Solitude lounge and purchase exclusive merchandise in a new Daily Planet themed store. A new comic book exclusive to Superman Experience will be available for fans to purchase on-site at DC. The adapted comic, Superman: Defenders Unite, was written by Josh Trujillo with cover art by Bernard Chang.
Superman Experience is a separate ticketed attraction from Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood and is also sold as an “add-on” to the renowned Studio Tour. Parking is available at Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood, where guests are transferred from the Studio Tour Welcome Center to Stage 5.
