‘VisionQuest’ gets release date on Disney+

“VisionQuest,” Marvel’s highly anticipated spinoff of “WandaVision,” debuts on Disney+ on October 14.
It was previously known that the show would take place in the fall of 2026. Disney announced the release date during the Upfronts, where the company also announced a slew of other programming news.
It was announced that the series, which stars Paul Bettany as the android and former Avenger, will be in development in October 2022, a year and a half after the end of the Disney+ miniseries ‘WandaVision’, which stars Bettany opposite Elizabeth Olsen as the Scarlet Witch.
The series is being touted by Disney as the “final installment” in the trilogy that began with “WandaVision” and continued with 2024’s “Agatha All Along,” a spin-off that saw Kathryn Hahn reprise the role of the witch Agatha Harkness.
‘VisionQuest’ will also see James Spader reprise his role as Ultron from ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’. And the cast also includes Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, James D’Arcy, Orla Brady, Emily Hampshire and Ruaridh Mollica. Variety also announced the news of the casting of Lauren Morais and Diane Morgan in the series.
Terry Matalas (“Star Trek: Picard”) serves as showrunner for “VisionQuest.” The eight-episode series – part of Phase Six of the MCU – was shot in 2025 at Britain’s Pinewood Studios.
