The current manhunt for suspected murderer Travis Decker Perhaps a major update … Bones were found near where the bodies of his daughters were discovered, TMZ confirmed.
For those who have not followed the case … Decker’s Daughters – Paiten, 9; Evelyn, 8; and Olivia, 5 – were dead On 2 June at the campsite near Leavenworth, WA – with the father’s residence unknown. A huge manhunt was launched shortly thereafter.
An FBI spokesperson says TMZ … “We can confirm that some bones have been collected as part of the search activity earlier in the week around Rock Island camping. These bones will be further analyzed to determine if they are animals or human being.”
Decker became the most important suspect after his DNA and only his DNA – was found On the plastic bags that cover the heads of his deceased daughters. Their deaths were pronounced as a murder, as the province’s medical investigator ruled that they died due to suffocation.
Authorities have since been looking for Decker … However, given this new update of the FBI … it may have been dead for a while.
The search for Decker has been expanded to say the least. His pick -up was not found long after the Decker -girls were discovered dead … 150 miles outside of Seattle and in a heavily wooded area.
Some wondered if Decker had fled in the wilderness, With reference to his military background As a possible way, he might escape the recording.
There is currently an order for his arrest … He is accused of 3 counts of murder in the first degree.
