Travelsphere launches new guided trips | News


Travelsphere has unveiled four new guided tours for 2027, covering mainland Europe and southern Africa.

The tours, which go on sale today (April 8, 2026), include:

Winter in Switzerland
Includes a trip on the GoldenPass Express to Montreaux; a visit to Kleine Scheidegg by train from Grindelwald; visits to the village of Lauterbrunnen, Maison Cailler for a chocolate-making workshop, and Gruyères for a traditional Swiss cheese fondue tasting; and a tour of the Château de Chillon with wine tasting. Departs January 25, 2027 for six nights, from £2,579 pp.

Exploring Crete – Chania and the White Mountains
Includes tours of the ancient city of Aptera; Chania including its Venetian harbour; the White Mountains; and the Gonia Monastery. A visit to a winery and an olive mill with tasting is also possible. Departs June 6, 2027 for seven nights, from £2,199pp

Scandinavian explorer
Offers city tours of Oslo, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Orebro and Jonkoping; visits to the Vasa Museum and the Skansen Museum; and a cruise on the canals of Stockholm. Departs May 27, 2027 for eight nights, from £2,999pp

Livingstone’s Africa – Victoria Falls, Botswana and Zimbabwe
Includes game drives in Chobe National Park and Hwange National Park; river cruises on the Chobe and Zambezi; a vintage tram ride through Zambezi National Park to the Victoria Falls Bridge; and a tour of Victoria Falls including a lecture by David Livingstone.

The itinerary is part of the Royal Geographical Society’s (RGS) Travelsphere collection, which includes expert-led insights and an exclusive travel booklet with destination content from the Society. A contribution from each booking supports the Society’s ongoing research and fieldwork. Departs March 3, 2027 for 11 nights, from £4,999pp
