Travelsoft Pay Partners with Checkout.com to Strengthen Global Travel Payment Orchestration | News

Travelsoft Pay (“TSPay”), the payment orchestration and issuance division of Travelsoft Group, today announced a strategic partnership with Checkout.com, a leading global digital payments provider, to improve payment performance and simplify global payments connectivity for travel businesses across the ecosystem.

As the payments division of Travelsoft, one of the world’s leading travel technology groups, TSPay focuses on simplifying and modernizing payments for travel companies through payment orchestration, issuance and connectivity solutions designed specifically for the travel industry.

As travel companies continue to expand internationally and manage increasingly complex payment flows across multiple markets, currencies and payment methods, the need for specialized orchestration infrastructure has become critical.

This partnership addresses this challenge by combining global acquisition capabilities with travel-native payment orchestration designed specifically for the operational realities of the travel industry.

This partnership will enable Travelsoft Group platforms and their travel customers around the world to benefit from a unified, travel-focused payments infrastructure designed to optimize global payment acceptance, improve conversion rates, simplify PSP connectivity and support the complex operational workflows specific to the travel ecosystem.

TSPay acts as a central orchestration and connectivity layer in the Travelsoft ecosystem, giving travel companies access to global acquisition capabilities, smart routing, payment optimization workflows, alternative payment methods, and travel-specific payment experiences through a single integration framework.

The partnership combines Checkout.com’s global acquisition and payment performance with TSPay’s travel-native orchestration approach, purpose-built around the operational realities of OTAs, tour operators, bed banks, consolidators, travel management companies and travel marketplaces.

Key capabilities include:

Global payment acceptance across multiple regions and currencies
Intelligent payment routing and failover logic
Journey-specific orchestration workflows and operational controls
Support for card payments and alternative payment methods
Improved authorization performance and conversion optimization
Scalable infrastructure designed for large travel merchants
Centralized orchestration across multiple PSPs and payment providers
Simplified integration for Travelsoft platforms and connected customers
Mary Cotugno, Managing Director of TSPay, said: “Travel companies operate in one of the most complex payment environments in the world. Managing multiple payment providers, cross-border transactions, alternative payment methods, deposits, installments and long booking cycles requires much more than a traditional payment setup.

At TSPay, our mission is to simplify that complexity by providing the travel industry with a unified, travel-focused payment infrastructure. Through a single layer of orchestration, travel companies can access the payment options they need while retaining the flexibility to choose the partners that best support their growth.

Our partnership with Checkout.com represents an important step in that journey and strengthens the ecosystem we are building for Travelsoft platforms and their customers worldwide.”

Matthieu Barral, Global Head of Partnerships, Checkout.com added: “Travel merchants need a resilient, scalable and high-performing payments infrastructure that can support international growth and complex customer journeys. We are pleased to partner with TSPay and support Travelsoft’s vision to deliver modern payment orchestration capabilities to the travel industry.”

The partnership marks another step in TSPay’s strategy to build a unified, PSP-independent payments infrastructure within the Travelsoft ecosystem, giving travel companies access to best-in-class payment options through a single orchestration layer.
