Tori Spelling brags about finalizing ‘drama-free’ divorce from Dean McDermott

McDermott fueled divided rumors in June 2023, when he shared an Instagram post and wrote that it was with “great sadness and a very, very heavy heart” that the couple decided to “go our separate ways.”

The former chef quickly deleted the post and months later admitted he was under the influence when he shared it.

Spelling further fueled the rumors by moving into a $100-a-night dive motel in Hollywood with their five children in July 2023, and into an RV the following month, amid reports that she was financially down on her luck.

The reality star later fought back against homelessness claims, saying the camper was meant to take her children on a camping trip before the school year started.

McDermott further confessed that his alcoholism was the cause of the demise of their marriage.

“Alcohol made me feel good enough. I started feeling good enough until it got to a point where I didn’t — it ended up in isolation,” he confessed in a November 2023 interview, revealing that he was currently living in a sober house after the Kiss the bride actress helped him check into rehab this past summer.

“To this day, all Tori has done is make them want me to be Happy and healthy, and I caused a lot of damage and pain to that woman,” he continued. ‘I take responsibility for that today. And it’s the biggest change I’ll ever have to make,” referring to his twelve-step program.
