THE RITZ-CARLTON, LANGKAWI INTRODUCES DAYANG MASTURA | News

The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi, located on the pristine southwest coast of Malaysia’s Jewel of Kedah, announces the launch of its newest guest experience, a private Lagoon 620 sailing catamaran with luxury itineraries. Named to symbolize lasting grace, Dayang Mastura offers guests an exceptional private charter experience and an invitation to explore Langkawi’s breathtaking Andaman coastline – Langkawi’s ultimate sailing experience.
Continuing The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi’s commitment to transformative travel and cultural storytelling, elegantly curated private yacht excursions will be tailor-made to celebrate the resort’s unique island location – surrounded by ancient rainforest steeped in local legends. Whether organizing intimate celebrations, milestone gatherings, romantic escapes or inspired corporate retreats, Dayang Mastura offers the opportunity to sail into tranquility, celebrate life’s cherished moments and view the Langkawi archipelago from a magical perspective.
Dayang Mastura is designed as a water retreat and reflects refined European craftsmanship, the interiors were designed by Nauta Design and combine contemporary elegance with the spirit of the sea. With a capacity for up to 20 guests, the yacht’s luxuriously appointed indoor and outdoor spaces include expansive dining areas, a salon and lounge, sun terraces and a dedicated yoga and meditation room. Paddleboards, kayaks, snorkeling and fishing equipment invite active exploration, and with four ensuite cabins, the yacht is perfectly suited for parties at sea.
Available for day charters or curated sunset cruises, each experience begins at Telaga Harbor Park marina, just a five-minute drive from the resort, where a dedicated captain and crew welcome guests on board with a selection of aperitifs before sailing across the glittering Andaman Sea.
The journey follows the dramatic coast of Machinchang and passes through the tranquil Chinchin Strait towards the enchanting island trio of the Andaman Sea, including Pulau Rebak Besar and Pulau Intan Kecil. Here, sheltered coves and translucent waters provide the perfect setting for snorkeling, swimming and peacefully exploring the sea in vibrant reefs where sightings of sergeant majors, parrotfish and damselfish are common.

Against the backdrop of the ancient silhouette of the Machinchang Mountains, guests can relax on the deck and enjoy a tailor-made picnic prepared by the resort’s private chef. The menus are inspired by Langkawi’s rich culinary heritage, with refined interpretations of local favorites, from Kuih Rotan and Kerabu Kale, to sliced seasonal fruit and Kuih Lapis. Fresh canapes are served against uninterrupted sea views, accompanied by the soothing lapping of waves and sea eagles gliding overhead.
As the golden hour arrives, sunset tours transform the coastline into a living canvas. Evening tours follow the shores of pristine islands as guests enjoy freshly prepared culinary delights from Lempeng with Sambal Bilis, Thai Beef Salad, Banana Cake and Pandan Financiers. As the yacht cuts through water illuminated in amber light, an unforgettable journey unfolds under a starry sky.
Dayang Mastura private charter starts from MYR 8,800 / £1,600.
