‘The Pitt’ star Isa Briones slams fans who scream during her Broadway show

“The Pitt” star Isa Briones took to social media on Saturday to call out fans who yelled at her during her Broadway show. On ‘The Pitt’ Briones stars as second-year resident Dr. Trinity Santos, but on stage she currently plays Connie Francis in the jukebox musical ‘Just In Time’.
“Hey, hey, hey!” Briones wrote on her Instagram Story. “Again, Broadway is not a circus. Don’t yell whatever you want at the performers. Yell ‘when are you going to finish your charts’ before I shout ‘Who’s Sorry Now?’ sing. is damn disrespectful to the performers on stage and your fellow audience members. You all make me angry.”
She added: “Love and light and please remember to occupy shared spaces and look at art.”
After making her Broadway debut in 2024 as Eurydice in “Hadestown,” Briones joined “Just In Time” on April 1. The musical follows the life and career of American singer-songwriter Boby Darin. Jeremy Jordan, who took over for “Glee” star Matthew Morrison on April 21, will play Darin. Other cast members include Joe Barbara, Emily Bergl, Carrie St. Louis, Debbie Gravitte, Lance Roberts and Caesar Samayoa.
After premiering in 2025, “The Pitt” quickly became one of the most popular shows on HBO’s roster. The first season was nominated for thirteen Emmy Awards and won five, including Best Drama Series, Best Actor for Noah Wyle and Best Supporting Actress for Katherine LaNasa. Season 2 of “The Pitt” premiered on January 8 and is expected to be a big frontrunner at this year’s Emmy Awards.
