The Livingston debuts as the first Hyatt hotel in Brooklyn, NY | News

The first Hyatt-branded hotel in Brooklyn, NY is now open, adding a modern hideaway to the city’s cultural district. St. Louis-based Midas Hospitality and its partner ACRES Capital developed the 104-room luxury hotel The Livingston, part of the JdV by Hyatt brand. Designed for travelers with a sense of true discovery and community, the 22-story hotel taps into local culture with carefully curated spaces.
“We are excited to bring the warmth of the JdV by Hyatt brand in a way that matches the creative energy of Brooklyn for leisure and business travelers,” said Linda Eigelberger, president and chief commercial officer of Midas Hospitality.
The Livingston is just steps from the Barclays Center, the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), and the Brooklyn Museum, as well as a host of renowned theaters, art galleries, and live music venues. Multiple subway stations are within walking distance, giving you easy access to Manhattan (just 15 minutes away) and the rest of New York.
The Livingston, a pet-friendly* hotel located at 291 Livingston St., features 15 rooms with balconies. Each room has a dynamic view of the city. The chic, airy rooms and suites feature a modern-industrial design with amenities including complimentary Wi-Fi, spa-like bathrooms with white marble showers, 55-inch TV, in-room safe, mini-fridge, coffee maker, desk and armchair.
Guests can enjoy locally inspired cuisine all day at the hotel’s full-service restaurant, The Grove Lantern, as well as social spaces that promote connection, including the lobby Goldfinch Café, serving premium espresso drinks and fresh pastries from neighboring bakeries. An 800-square-foot rooftop terrace is ideal for seasonal cocktail receptions, events, parties and informal gatherings, all with the dynamic backdrop of Brooklyn’s iconic cityscape. Brooklyn’s signature rhythm and culture are reflected in the hotel’s art installations by local creators and surrounding culinary offerings.
