The Emirates A380 has landed at Mini-Europe | News

The Emirates A380 has landed at Mini-Europe airport, bringing one of the most recognizable aircraft to the captivating world of miniature monuments, displays and entertainment in Brussels.
The Emirates A380 model has been replicated in meticulous detail, with more than 60 hours of intricate craftsmanship by Mini-Europe’s expert modellers to capture the A380’s distinctive features and the iconic Emirates livery. The custom-made 1:25 scale aircraft still measures almost three meters long (292 cm) with an impressive wingspan of 320 cm and a height of 45 cm. From the proportions of the hull to the fine details of the paint scheme, the model highlights the expertise and craftsmanship that characterize Mini-Europe’s creations.
As the world’s largest international airline and the world’s largest operator of the A380, Emirates continues to celebrate the enduring appeal of the double-decker aircraft, which has become synonymous with its premium travel experience and global connectivity.
Jean-Pierre Martin, Emirates Country Manager in Belgium said: “The Emirates A380 has become more than an aircraft: it symbolizes the magic and joy of traveling and exploring the world. This new exhibition at Mini-Europe helps bring that experience closer to visitors and offers a unique way to experience our flagship aircraft up close, while also celebrating our long-standing connection to Europe.”
The arrival of the Emirates A380 marks a new step for Mini-Europe, which continues to celebrate not only Europe’s cultural heritage, but also its connections with the rest of the world. Aviation, and especially long-distance travel, plays a key role in bringing people and cultures together – values that fully reflect the spirit of the park.
Vinciane Meeùs, Managing Director of Mini-Europe says: “At Mini-Europe, the journey begins now: we invite visitors to admire this iconic aircraft and imagine themselves on board, on their way to their next destination. With this emblematic miniature A380, we are proud to present Emirates, a symbol of global connectivity with Europe, and Airbus, a key partner in European innovation.”
Emirates has been serving Brussels for more than 11 years and has transported more than 3 million passengers to and via Dubai. Over the years, Emirates has consistently improved its passenger offering, adding a second daily frequency and bringing the latest aircraft to Belgian airspace, including the completely renewed Boeing 777, equipped with Premium Economy. In 2018, the airline operated a special one-off A380 flight to Brussels Airport, to celebrate the inauguration of the airport’s first A380-compatible gate.
