Sylvester Stallone shares emotional message to daughter amid health fears

Last year the star admitted that the aftermath of many of his own stunts in films and TV shows had taken a toll on his body.

While walking the red carpet at the recent Kennedy Center Honors, Slyvester made no attempt to hide his gold-plated cane and posed prominently with it for photos.

Along the way, he admitted to one person that he had had eight back surgeries in the past, and that another needed one soon. He stepped back and shrugged, “It’s true.”

Sylvester has spoken out in the past about his dangerous lifestyle on his 2024 reality show The Stallone family that he “never recovered” from the numerous injuries he sustained while making action films.

Stallone explained at the time, “I did stupid things. I directed Consumables and like an idiot I do take 10, take whatever, and I remember one hit, and I could even feel one pop. After that film it was never physically the same again.”
