Sydney Sweeney on filming Euphoria season 3

Sydney Sweeney is getting ready to wrap up filming on Season 3 of ‘Euphoria’.
“I’ll finish ‘Euphoria’ in two days,” she told me at the AFI Fest premiere of her new drama “Christy” Saturday night in Los Angeles.
Sweeney spoke about returning to the HBO series after three years. “It’s mostly the same crew, so it feels like I’m going home to family,” she said. “I grew up with them. I was 20 when I did the pilot, so it feels very reassuring to see a lot of the same people.”
While HBO previously announced that the third season would be the last, I did ask Sweeney about the possibility of a fourth. “I cannot confirm any information,” she said.
Last week, Jacob Elordi teased season 3 while walking the red carpet at the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles. “It was incredible, man,” he told me. “It was incredibly liberating. I got to play something that was so far removed from what I’ve done before.”
He said series creator Sam Levinson “has constructed something that’s incredibly smart and cinematic. I think people will really like it.”
Elordi also insisted that he doesn’t know exactly what will happen in the third season. “Everyone is shooting for different storylines,” he said. “I don’t know what anyone else is doing. I had a very special storyline. You don’t know what the other storylines are. They’re like FBI files. So it’s great because I can watch the show the same way as everyone else as a fan, which I haven’t been able to do before. I’m very excited.”
Sweeney said, “I have a feeling I’m going to watch it with everyone else.”
Sweeney will soon begin prepping for the role of actress Kim Novak in “Scandalous.” The Colman Domingo-directed film tells the story of Novak’s interracial romance with Sammy Davis Jr. (David Jonsson) in 1957.
“I’m going to meet her,” Sweeney said. “I’m going to be working with some movement coaches and dialect coaches, and watching and studying all her films. I’m really excited.”
