Just after the debate, Jill congratulated her clearly confused husband during a campaign stop, saying, “Joe, you did a great job. You answered every question, you knew all the facts.

Smith raged: “At that point, his wife comes out, and she applauds his efforts, and she said he was great and he answered all the questions and all this other stuff.”

That just feeds into the narrative that Democrats are “dishonest, uncooperative, not open and always trying to find a way to manipulate and dictate a narrative,” Smith said, speaking with former Gov. Andrew Cuomo about his Pulse of the people WABC radio show.
