Sarah Jessica Parker about why they don’t post politics

Sarah Jessica Parker prefers to keep the politics of her social media.

During a recent appearance on “The best people“Podcast, the” Sex and the City “star explained that she avoids her political views on social media because she believes that there are more suitable forums to discuss social issues.

“I often don’t talk on social media because I don’t think it’s a place that deserves a really complicated conversation,” said Parker. “I am not interested in fast small excerpts if it sometimes has to do with conflicts or even elections. I was really so thoughtful about how I wanted to talk about the elections because I think it will be a distraction from a campaign. It is changing in food. It is misunderstood. You have no control over it.”

Parker explained that there are “so many ways” to motivate political change outside of posting online. She pointed out that politics lasted decades before the invention of social media and achieved an example from history, adding to it: “FDR was chosen without social media.”

Although fans encourage her to be ‘vocal’ online, she feels ‘more comfortable’ to tackle social problems on her own conditions.

“I’m not going to talk about things I have not trained about,” said Parker. “I am not going to jump into really complex areas that I think think much more, consideration, nuance – where I know nobody is interested. And I just feel that I want to be helpful. I don’t want to hurt anything that is important.”
