Sarah Ferguson sought a meeting with EL James about X-rated books

Her desire to meet British multimillionaire James, 62, comes next RadarOnline.com revealed that the former Duchess of York is quietly considering a shift to adult fiction, including explicit romantic material, under a pseudonym.
Publication figures now say the plan has now accelerated into a direct pursuit of James – whose Fifty shades trilogy was written under a pseudonym and transformed her from an anonymous fan fiction writer into one of the richest authors in the world, selling more than 150 million copies and spawning a multimillion-dollar film franchise.
Ferguson’s desire for mentorship from James – born Erika Mitchell – also comes on the heels of her latest children’s book, Flora and Varen: Kindness on the roadwas pulverized following renewed investigation into her ties to Epstein.
A senior publishing source said: “Fergie says: ‘EL James cracked the code – I need to understand how she did it.’
“For Sarah, it’s not about writing erotica, it’s about surviving.
“She sees James as the blueprint to rise from nothing and turn it into a global brand.”
Another insider added: “Fergie has said, ‘I need someone who has made real money and can show me how to do it with the only thing I have left: writing.'”
