Jeremy Shockey has never been shy… and his message to the New York Giants is simple… go get it John Harbaugh!
The four-time Pro Bowl tight end – who won a Super Bowl with the Giants in the 2007 season – talks TMZ Sports the ex-Ravens coach would be his choice for the Big Apple.
“It’s not often you come across a coach of that caliber with that kind of pedigree and experience,” Shockey said, adding that the G-Men shouldn’t chase one-hit wonders or roll the dice on another untested asset.
Instead, he pointed straight to Harbaugh’s resume, calling him “a champion and a winner” while emphasizing the most important point: He’s available.
Translation? Shockey thinks they might be crazy not to pull the trigger.
Of course, the NYG is not the only organization looking for a new coach. In fact, a quarter of the NFL is on the hunt for a new leader, and Harbaugh is at the top of everyone’s wish list for the reasons Shockey laid out.
That said, the Giants may be the most attractive job available. They have a promising young core at quarterback Jaxson Dart – who cameras captured tackling the coaching search last week – and back running Cam Skattbowho Shockey thinks has similarities to himself.
“I’m big fans of both, and I’m glad I’m a Giants fan myself,” he said.

The U hasn’t won a title since Shockey was an All-American in the 2000 season…something he believes will soon change.
