REMAX, Real Both picks up Big Compass Real Estate teams in the West
Two leading Compass teams in Seattle and Denver have moved to other brokerages, according to separate announcements on Wednesday. The teams will represent a combined sales volume of $270 million by 2025.
The New Year’s shift continues, this time with two major Compass teams in Seattle and Denver shifting their ranks to new brokers.
The Real Brokerage nabbed the NK Team, a team of 34 agents that RealTrends ranked as Seattle’s top-selling Large Team from 2021 to 2023 and the No. 4 Mega Team in 2024. The team has generated $1.4 billion in sales since 2017, with annual sales volume hovering around $230 million. As part of the move, the team will be renamed McConnell Group.
Before Compass, team founder Sean McConnell was a strategic account manager at Zillow and spent two years as a real estate agent at Keller Williams.

Meanwhile, in Denver, the Sandoval Team has moved to REMAX Advantage, the #1 REMAX team in the world as of 2021.
The Sandoval team has been with Compass since 2023, with the six agents closing nearly $50 million in sales last year. The team’s leaders, Michael and Ashley Sandoval, have more than twenty years of combined experience in the real estate industry, with assignments at ERA, eXp and several other local brands.
