Regina Hall Joins Adam Driver in Netflix Series ‘Rabbit, Rabbit’

Regina Hall will star opposite Adam Driver in the upcoming Netflix series ‘Rabbit, Rabbit’. Variety has confirmed.
The project was originally announced in October with an order for direct series production. The logline for the show states: “When an escaped convict is cornered by police at a truck stop, he takes hostages in an attempt to bargain for his freedom. But the standoff quickly escalates into an out-of-control social experiment with his captives, as well as an emotional poker match with a skilled FBI crisis negotiator trained in ‘tactical empathy’.”
Hall is stepping down from her role in Paul Thomas Anderson’s Oscar-nominated film ‘One Battle After Another’. She is also known for her work in the ‘Scary Movie’ franchise and will return in the Wayans brothers’ sixth film, as well as roles in films such as ‘Girls Trip’, ‘Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul’, ‘The Best Man’ franchise and ‘Think Like a Man’ and its sequel. On television, she recently starred in the Showtime series “Black Monday” and “The Best Man: The Final Chapters” on Peacock. She previously appeared in shows like ‘Ally McBeal’ and ‘Insecure’.
She is represented by IAG.
Peter Craig created the series and serves as showrunner and executive producer. Driver will also executive produce in addition to starring. Philip Barantini will direct and executive produce through It’s All Made Up Productions. Samantha Beddoe of It’s All Made Up will also executive produce for his and Craig’s Night Owl Stories banner alongside Bryan Unkeless. MRC is the studio.
Deadline first reported Hall’s casting.
