Paradise Resort Evia, member of Radisson Individuals, brings a large-scale beach resort to Greece | News

Radisson Hotel Group announces the opening of Paradise Resort Evia, member of Radisson Individuals, a 322-room beachfront resort in Eretria on the island of Evia, Greece. The resort is the brand’s first in Greece and strengthens Radisson Hotel Group’s growing presence in Mediterranean leisure destinations. Located less than two hours’ drive from Athens, the resort combines direct access to the Aegean beach, extensive wellness and sports facilities, five dining and bar locations and flexible meeting and event spaces in one of Greece’s most accessible island destinations.

The opening comes as Evia gains visibility among international travelers looking for a more authentic Greek island experience outside the country’s traditional tourist hotspots. As demand grows for destinations that combine nature, culture, accessibility and lower-density travel experiences, Evia has emerged as one of Greece’s most attractive alternatives, with mountain villages, thermal springs, ancient archaeological sites and an extensive coastline within easy reach of Athens.

“Evia is one of Greece’s most attractive emerging resort destinations, offering the authenticity, accessibility and natural beauty that today’s travelers are increasingly seeking,” said Joep Peeters, Chief Operating Officer Franchise EMEA, Radisson Hotel Group. “We are delighted to welcome Paradise Resort Evia to the Radisson Individuals portfolio as the brand’s first resort in Greece. The opening reflects our continued focus on expanding into high-potential Mediterranean leisure destinations and introducing guests to places with a strong sense of identity and discovery.”

Location and destination
Located on the beach along the Eretria-Aliveri Road on Evia’s west coast, the resort places guests within easy reach of some of the island’s most emblematic cultural and natural attractions. The Archaeological Museum of Eretria is a 5-minute drive from the resort, while the waterfront town of Chalkida and the famous tidal phenomenon of Evripos Bridge can be reached in about 25 minutes by car. The thermal springs of Edipsos and the mountain village of Steni Dirfyos offer day trips that connect visitors with the island’s natural landscape and cultural heritage.

Athens International Airport is approximately an hour and 45 minutes away by car, making the resort one of the most accessible island beach destinations in Greece.

Accommodation
The resort features 322 rooms, private garden bungalows and spacious family suites with a low-rise, Mediterranean-style design designed to connect guests with the surrounding sea and gardens. Designed for couples, families, groups and extended vacation stays, the resort combines the scale of a full-service beach destination with a relaxed island atmosphere, rooted in the Evia landscape.

Dining and social areas
Five dining and bar locations create a social and culinary experience that focuses on Mediterranean hospitality and Greek meeting culture. The resort’s main restaurant serves Mediterranean and international cuisine all day, while El Greco restaurant offers à la carte dining in a more intimate setting.

At the heart of the social offering is the Ouzeri Bar, inspired by the traditional Greek ouzerie, serving local spirits and mezedes in a relaxed, convivial atmosphere. Other locations include an all-day pool bar for cocktails and snacks, in addition to a lobby bar designed for evening drinks and informal gatherings.

Wellness & Facilities
The resort offers one of the most extensive recreation programs on the island, combining wellness, recreation and beach experiences into one resort destination. Facilities include a full-service spa with wellness therapies, a sauna, relaxation areas and an indoor pool, in addition to a modern fitness center equipped for cardio and strength training.

Guests also have access to an organized beach with sunbeds, parasols and water sports, in addition to three outdoor swimming pools, including a dedicated children’s pool. Sports facilities include tennis, paddle, petanque, basketball, mini football and beach volleyball.

The beachfront location, resort infrastructure and proximity to Athens position Paradise Resort Evia as a distinctive alternative to conventional conference and incentive destinations in Greece.

With 322 rooms and bungalows, five dining options, a full-service spa, four swimming pools and one of the most extensive sports and recreation programs on the island, Radisson Individuals member Paradise Resort Evia introduces a new chapter of luxury resort hospitality in one of Greece’s fastest emerging island destinations.
