Pam Bondi accused of ‘masterminding White House cover-up’

“Finally, she had a summons issued to appear today,” Garcia said during his appearance on The weekday evening. “Chairman (James) Comer has sent that around, and just because she’s not the attorney general right now, that’s not an excuse for her not to come in.”

“She was the mastermind behind this White House cover-up,” he boldly claimed. “The survivors have demanded that she give testimony, that she answer questions. Her failure to show up is, in my opinion and the committee’s opinion, essentially grounds for contempt.”

The California rep then claimed, “We contacted the DOJ, no response. She apparently has a private attorney; no response. And so earlier today, Comer said he’s in touch with her attorney. He said I’m going to reschedule this hearing. Let’s reschedule it.”

“And if we don’t hear anything in the next few days, we’ll start contempt proceedings; it has to be done. People must be held accountable for the laws we pass in Congress and the subpoenas we put in place….”
