Netflix acquires ‘aka Charlie Sheen’ documentary

Win. Netflix has acquired the two-part documentary ‘Aka Charlie Sheen’, which describes the struggle of the star with fame-what leads to his notorious 2011-fires of “Two and a Half Men”-by his way to austerity. The film will be launched on 10 September on the streamer, which also shared key art and a trailer (scroll down to watch below).
After tempering his tiger bloodways, Sheen Sheen opens for the documentary, who also speaks with family, friends and cast members, including Denise Richards, Heidi Fleiss, Jon Cryer, Sean Penn, Ramon Estevez, Brooke Mueller, Chris Tucker Marco. Sheen has been a bit of a redemption tour for a while, since then she has recorded things with “two and a half men” exec -producer Chuck Lorre – and even appeared in Lorre’s “Bookie”.
Andrew Renzi, whose “Pepsi, where is my jet?” Was a hit for Netflix in 2022, is the director and producer of “Aka Charlie Sheen.” Executive producers are Richard Lichter, Toby Emmerich, Michael Minahan and Vivian Johnson Rogowski, while producers also Charles Roven, Nick Boak, Madison Weireter, Jesse Sisgold, Jon Weinbach, Jordan Wynn, Dane Lillegard.

Sheen’s life are again visited with raw emotion and exceptional warmth, the painting of a defective man whose preference for self -destruction is ultimately not a party for the wild love and forgiveness that he inspires in those closest to him. ”
Skydance, north of now, Boardwalk Pictures and Atlas Independent are the production companies connected to the project. Renzi’s other credits are “Paul American”, “Chiefsaholic: A Wolf in Chiefs Clothing” and “The Curse of Von Dutch: A Brand to Die For.”
