Leonardo DiCaprio’s father ‘desperately looking for a political career’

As part of his dream to become a nocturnal sensation politician, he orchestrated a clandestine dinner in the famous Rao of New York with conservative figures, sources told Rob Shuter van Shutcope.
“George thinks he can be the bridge between Hollywood and right -wing force,” said an insider – added: “And he uses Leo to get into the room.”
The private meal in Rao’s in East Harlem on 19 June was attended by Leonardo, 50, Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman, 60; Former NYPD -Detective and Fox News -employee Bo Dietl, 71, conservative radio presenter Sid Rosenberg, 58, media -entrepreneur Andrew Murstein, 57 -and others.
Leonardo was bent by the guest list, convincing that he was there for an informal “network dinner” instead of a politically charged strategy session, sources say.
George was born in Los Angeles and built a career in the underground comics in the 1970s before he turned into film cinematography.
He has so far largely remained out of the public eye when insiders say that he is having a political role behind the scenes and uses his son’s profile to make contact with conservative influencers.
