Kristen Bell’s comments about daughters and non-alcoholic beer are resurfacing

The controversial clip in which Bell discusses her children drinking non-alcoholic beer has sparked debate about the couple’s openness when it comes to raising their daughters.
Shepard and Bell recently surprised fans when they admitted The armchair expert their daughters are allowed to ‘talk back’ to their parents, or to ‘anyone else’.
When Shepard’s friend said their kids should “let it rip,” he agreed.
“They don’t seem to have any respect… and they feel a little bit entitled. They do talk back and they’re not respectful. I can understand how that seems completely unmanageable. What I prioritize… is when they’re 19 and their boss is a creep, I want them to talk back. I want them to be disrespectful. I want them to always stand up for themselves, whether I think they’re right or wrong.”
Shepard insisted he is willing to deal with the so-called unruly behavior, despite it being labeled “embarrassing” by his friend, because he wants “that other thing for them as women.”
The buzz surrounding their parenthood comes fresh on the heels of a controversial post Bell shared on Instagram in honor of the couple’s 12th wedding anniversary.
Bell wrote shocking fans: “Happy twelfth wedding anniversary to the man who once said to me, ‘I would never kill you. Many men have killed their wives at some point. Even if I have strong incentives to kill you, I would never do that.”
