Kpop Demon Hunters, bad presentations set for 2025 View Conference

The View Conference in Turin, Italy, stands out as a unique experience for both speakers and those present. Most, if not all, remain for the duration of the one -week event, with keynotes, panels, master classes, workshops and more against the majestic background of the Alps in the northwestern city.
“I am proud to say that View Conference 2025 is one of our greatest events ever,” says Conference director Maria Elena Gutierrez. “This year’s program includes more than 135 speakers from all over the world, including 14 Academy Award winners and nominees. We have more than 20 in-depth workshops, countless panels and presentations and two special impressions of Blockbuster films introduced by the filmmakers themselves. The list continues.”
The conference runs from 12-17 October. Speakers include the co-director of Netflix’s popular ‘Kpop Demon Hunters’, Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans; Writer and director of the upcoming Warner Bros. -Imatie film ‘Cat in the Hat’, Alessandro Carloni; DreamWorks “Live-Action” How to Train Your Dragon “Schrijver director Dean Deblois, VFX-SUPERVISOR and creative director Christian Manz and General Animation Supervisor Glen Mcintosh; Directors of Pixar’s “Elio” Domee Shi and Madeline Sharafian; And Netflix’s upcoming “In Your Dreams” directors Alex Woo and Nicky Lavender as well as head of character animation Sacha Kapijimpanga, among many others.
Both “Kpop Demon Hunters” and “How to Train Your Dragon” will screen at the conference, each introduced by their creatives. This year’s event, Doug Chiang, senior vice president and executive design director of Lucasfilm, will also honor with the View Visionary Award for his contributions to the industry.
“One of the biggest voltage conference 2025 will plan your week,” Gutierrez notes. “Breng een ochtend door in het gezelschap van een Oscar-winnende filmmaker dan, na het eten van je lunch omringd door gelijkgestemde professionals en enthousiastelingen, duik diep in je favoriete creatieve discipline met een van onze diepgaande workshops. Je denkt dat de volgende dag de volgende dag is gericht op een PROFFECIOEN van de toekomst, of je portfolio beoordeelt, of je portrolio beoordeelt, of je portrolio Do you judge or go behind or one of the future of the blockbuster films of the year?
Universal’s coming “wicked: for good” will also be seen at the conference. VFX Supervisor Pablo Helman and Animation Supervisor Dale Newton will discuss their work on both “Wicked” films and answer questions about the public. Other major films represented at the conference are Disney’s “Tron: Ares” and live action “Lilo & Stitch”, Apple’s “F1”, Warner Bros. “Superman” and Marvel’s “Fantastic Four: First Steps”.
A number of high-profile TV projects also send speakers to the view conference, including “Wednesday” and “The Sandman” from Netflix, as well as “The Penguin” from HBO. Moreover, the program contains discussions about advanced technologies and AI.
“But this is about more than just the figures,” says Gutierrez. “What people remember about View Conference is our warm, vibrant atmosphere, where attendees learn from the best of the best, meet their heroes and get away and really feel inspired. It is what I call the buzz of the View Conference.”
For Gutierrez and many attendees, the View Conference is mainly about the community. Every year Gutierrez works to bring like -minded individuals together to share ideas and experiences in a relaxed and hospitable environment.
“People come once, and then they stay. They are addicted,” she says. “And when they have a new project to present, they want to bring it here and show it at the View Conference. They make it a priority.” She points out that in most cases it is difficult to get 15 minutes with people from the caliber attending the conference. “So, if you have them for a whole week, I mean, how special is that?”
