King Charles is hit by seagull droppings during his visit to Northern Ireland

The low-key outing was a world away from the pageantry of Charles and Queen Camilla’s recent visit to the US, where the royal couple took center stage during America’s 250th anniversary celebrations.
The duo visited the White House on three of the four days to a warm welcome from self-proclaimed royal admirer Donald Trump and his wife Melania.
The president hosted a state dinner for the monarch, complete with a dress code of white ties and elegant dresses for female attendees.
Charles gave a speech praising the two nations’ longstanding ties and even presented the Commander-in-Chief with the original brass bell from the World War II Royal Navy submarine HMS Trump.
The king boldly told the president, “May it be a testimony to our country’s shared history and bright future. And if you ever want to get a hold of us, just give us a call.”
Charles and Camilla were also celebrated at a glamorous party in New York City for The King’s Trust, with a celebrity audience including Fashion Global editor Anna Wintour, domestic diva Martha Stewart, singer Lionel Richie and designer Donatella Versace.
