Jessica Simpson shows off failed lip injections at 2025 VMAs

After the appearance of Simpson, fans were concerned that the singer went and had ‘a fierce facelift’.

Although Simpson has not responded to her new appearance, she was previously opened about going under the knife.

In her 2020 memoirs, Open book, The singer admitted that she was undergoing two abdominal weather pipes, even though her doctor warned her how she could ‘die’.

She wrote: “I ignored what my doctor said and kept the operation date.”

Due to the dangerous surgical procedure, she was admitted to hospital for nine days with an infection.

She wrote in the explosive book: “It didn’t go well. I got an infection – colitis – and vomited so much that I thought I would break my stitches.”

Simpson explained her fans how the operation did not ‘heal what is in it’.

She added: “I can tell you that plastic surgery is not healing what is in it. Really, it is about how you feel emotional, and I was still just as hard for myself as soon as those stitches were out. I still had work to do.”
