Jenna Elfman Joins Stephen Fry in Fox Drama ‘The Interrogator’

Jenna Elfman is the newest addition to the cast of the upcoming Fox series “The Interrogator.”
Elfman will appear on the show alongside lead actor Stephen Fry and fellow cast members Luke Kleintank and Michael Beach. The series was originally announced in February with a 12-episode straight order.
The logline for “The Interrogator” states that it centers on “MI6 agent Conrad Henry (Fry) and his elite team. When conventional methods have failed, Henry’s quirky charm, superior intellect and baffling behavioral maneuvers make him the only man capable of manipulating the minds of the world’s most dangerous criminals.”
Elfman will appear in the series regular role of Woodrow. The character is described as someone who was “a rising star at the CIA, until a failed mission sent her tumbling off the ladder. Now she finds herself at the DIA as a supervisor for Henry’s group. She sees it as a demotion – the first step on her climb back to where she fell from. She oversees Henry’s affairs, pushes him and often argues with him – Conrad is always seven steps ahead and Woodrow is rarely more than five steps ahead. But the pair have a grudging mutual respect that ensures a nice partnership with strange bedfellows.
The role brings Elfman back to broadcasting, when she originally broke out with her role on the ABC sitcom “Dharma & Greg.” That show aired for five seasons, with Elfman receiving three Emmy nominations and a Golden Globe win. She has since starred in several other shows, most recently ABC’s ‘Shifting Gears’ and the AMC drama ‘Dark Winds’. She also starred in AMC’s ‘Fear the Walking Dead’.
She is repped by WME, Artists First and Latham & Watkins.
The pilot script for “The Interrogator” was written by Fry, with revisions by both Matt Pyken and William Harper. Dan Dworkin and Jay Beattie are executive producers and showrunners. Fry will executive produce alongside Harper and Paul McGuigan, who will also direct. Likely Story’s Anthony Bregman and Miriam Mintz, Pyken, Neil Burger and Anonymous Content also serve as executive producers of the series.
