“I’m not going to lie to you, I invited a lot of new friends that I made in LA and I wasn’t sure if anyone would come,” she joked. Us. “Being very new to LA, I didn’t know that everyone is late. So for the first hour and a half it was me, Sasha, my brother [James]And Maks [Chmerkovskiy] And Peta [Murgatroyd]. I thought, ‘Guys, this is it. There are five of us. No one else is coming.” And then, around 8:30 p.m., everyone showed up all at once, but, oh my God, I was screwing myself up. I thought, ‘What have I done? Nobody cares.’”
Tran’s guest list also included several members of Bachelor Nation, including Jonathon Johnson, Austin Ot and more.
The most recent Bachelorette and Farber first met in September, hours before the DWTS season 33 cast reveal. Although they were ultimately eliminated from the competition during Halloween Nightmares week in October, their connection raised eyebrows as to whether their chemistry blossomed into a romance.
“We connect very well on a deeper level,” Tran said Us on Saturday. “I think it was pretty obvious since our first meeting at the airport and how crazy it was. We clicked so quickly and I think that really helped us during the time we knew each other [that] we have always been on the same page.”
Since packing DWTSTran is lying on Farber’s couch.
“I just want to say he’s been a great roommate. He is the best roommate I have ever had,” she said. “He cooks, he cleans, he has two [dogs] for me to pet all day. It was really great.”
Tran didn’t elaborate on her relationship status and played coy about whether she and Farber would celebrate the holidays together.
“We’re not so sure yet,” she said. “I’m going back to Boston to see my family. I haven’t seen them in so long and yeah, so we’ll see.”
Before traveling back east, Tran participated in the 22nd annual Memorable Awards Ceremony to celebrate the community’s achievements.
“I’m just, honestly, so honored and grateful to be here, to be invited and to be in this space where I can be so inspired and among so much greatness,” Tran, the first Asian American leader of the Bachelor franchise, told Us. “This is the moment I’ve been waiting for and this whole year has been so crazy for me, but to be able to be here and celebrate my culture and other people’s cultures and just be surrounded by family is incredible.”
