JD Vance Fired by Padma Lakshmi Over ‘Disgusting Ranch Dressing’ Meal

Lakshmi focused on Vance’s original terrible mess: a dish he made for Usha early in the romance during a recent visit to the Daily showexpressing what she perceived as cultural insensitivity.

The veteran Democrat first expressed how much she despised the Veep, sneering, “There are so many reasons to hate JD Vance, I didn’t think we needed a culinary reason.”

“He married an Indian woman, so she comes from a very deep, extensive culinary tradition, you know, and he gives her, what was that again, ranch dressing?” the American Culinary Cup said host.

“Who makes ranch dressing?” Lakshmi asked.

“He also says, ‘She’s a vegetarian. She only eats bread, vegetables and dairy products.’ You’ve been married to this person for over ten years, right? And we eat a lot, right? Rice, lentils, beans, pumpkin, all that stuff,” sighed Lakshmi, a fellow vegetarian, about popular items in meat-free diets.
