Ireckonu appoints Jamie Cole as Chief Commercial Officer | News

Ireckonu, a leading provider of middleware and customer data platforms for the hospitality industry, today announces the appointment of Jamie Cole as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), strengthening its leadership team as the company enters the next phase of global growth.

Jamie is a seasoned industry professional with a strong hospitality background across global brands including InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), Hilton and Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. He brings a valuable customer perspective, with a deep understanding of how large hotel groups operate, the complexities they face at scale, and what they need to succeed in increasingly competitive and AI data-driven environments. Because he knows Ireckonu both as a customer and now from the company, he offers a well-informed view of how the platform already distinguishes itself and where there are opportunities to scale up further.

As Chief Commercial Officer, Cole will lead Ireckonu’s global commercial strategy and play a central role in shaping the company’s next phase of growth. His remit covers the full customer lifecycle, from market positioning and business sales to onboarding, value realization and long-term customer success, enabling the business to scale in a structured and sustainable way.

A key focus will be developing Ireckonu’s business model to support larger, more complex hotel groups, aligning commercial, product and customer functions to deliver faster time-to-value and measurable business results. This includes helping customers unlock the full potential of their guest data to drive more personalized experiences, improve operational efficiency and reduce dependence on third-party distribution channels.

Jamie Cole, Chief Commercial Officer at Ireckonu said: “I am very excited to be joining Ireckonu at such an important stage of its growth, driven by the growing influence of AI, which requires clean, reliable data to enable informed decision making. The company has already built a strong foundation by working with some of the world’s leading hospitality groups to tackle the ongoing challenge of fragmented guest data in the sector. There is a clear opportunity to build on that momentum by expanding these capabilities to more complex organizations, accelerate global growth and help hotels groups deliver more connected experiences at every stage of the guest journey.”
