The company first launched its AI Plus plan in Indonesia earlier this month With RP 75,000 ($ 4.50) per month. The plan costs around $ 5 in most countries, and Google says it will be six months with a 50% discount at a few locations such as Nepal and Mexico.
The Plus -Tier unlocks access to Gemini 2.5 Pro, as well as tools for image and video creation such as Flow, Garde and VEO 3 Snel. Users also get access to more functions on the AI Research Assistant Notebook LM of the company, can use AI in Gmail, documents and sheets and receive 200 GB of cloud storage.
The news comes a day after OpenAi has expanded its sub-$ 5 chatgpt Go plan to Indonesia. In particular, India, where OpenAi debuted Chatgpt Go, is missing in the list of Google.
Both companies offer a basic plan of $ 20 a month, but with this new, cheaper subscription layers they try to reach more paying users in parts of the world where a $ 20 subscription can be expensive.
