Godfreyis not convinced Nicki Minaj is going to fight for Christians in Nigeria for the right reasons… and he wonders if she’s trying to become president Trump‘s good side for a little later.
We had the comedian at LAX on Monday and our photographer asked him if Nicki was suddenly very candid about Nigeria.
Nicki has co-signed Trump’s claims that Christians in Nigeria are being killed just because of their faith she even went to the United Nations to talk about it… but Godfrey says a few things have set his antennas on edge.
Born to Nigerian parents, Godfrey says he’s all for Nicki speaking out about Nigeria if she has genuine concerns… but it sounds like he thinks there’s politics at play here.

Nicki is getting a lot of attention online for praising Trump for threatening military action against Nigeria over the ‘slaughter’ of Christians… and Godfrey makes it clear he’s not a fan of Trump or MAGA.
It’ll be interesting to see how this all plays out…Godfrey certainly expects another shoe to drop.
