Four Seasons Resort Oahu on Ko Olina announces the appointment of Jason de Vries as General Manager. A seasoned hospitality leader, De Vries brings more than two decades of Four Seasons experience in both city properties and resort destinations. In his new role, he will oversee operations and management of the 370-room oceanfront resort, located in the Ko Olina community on Oahu’s west coast.

De Vries returns to Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina following his tenure as Resort Manager from 2021 to 2023. Most recently, he served as General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco at Embarcadero, where the hotel received a Michelin Two-Key award for two consecutive years under his leadership.

“Returning to Oahu really feels like coming home,” said Jason de Vries, General Manager. “I am honored to lead this exceptional team and look forward to building on the resort’s legacy while continuing to foster a sense of belonging, community and aloha for guests and employees alike.”

De Vries joined Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in 2006 and has built his career in various US destinations, including Boston, Los Angeles at Beverly Hills and Washington, DC, steadily rising through senior leadership roles in guest services, room operations and hotel management. A graduate of Johnson & Wales University with a bachelor’s degree in international hospitality management, De Vries is known for building inclusive, high-performing teams and delivering community-focused guest experiences. In his role as General Manager, he puts people first, aiming to improve the positioning of the resort while simultaneously honoring the living culture and destination.
