EXp World Holdings completes its rebrand to AGNT, Inc

EXp World Holdings is now AGNT, Inc. The company teased the name change when it updated its Nasdaq ticker to AGNT in May.

“We built this company around a single belief: that agents deserve better economics, better technology and a platform built in their image,” said Glenn Sanford, founder, chairman and CEO of AGNT, Inc. in a press release. He added that the new brand is “the formalization of that belief.”
“We are a multi-model platform, and every brand, tool and resource under this roof exists to serve agents at every stage of their career,” Sanford continued. “AGNT is who we have always been and what we are building towards.”
The holding company introduced the AGNT brand in May after announcing that NextHome now falls under its banner. The cloud-based company said NextHome marks its transition to a “multi-model platform that can support diverse business models and brands under one global umbrella.”
In addition to the new name, AGNT has also moved its home base from Delaware to Texas.
“This move reflects a governance framework purposefully designed to fit the realities of AGNT’s agent-driven business model, where Texas law expressly permits directors and officers to consider the interests of constituencies critical to the company – including agents – when exercising their fiduciary duties,” the announcement said.
CEO of EXp Realty Leo Pareja said AGNT offers agents the best of both worlds in a highly competitive – and consolidating – sector.
“eXp Realty did not become the largest independent real estate agency in the world by accident,” he said in a public statement. “We built the technology, the culture and the agent economy around one purpose: winning agents. AGNT is giving that mission a permanent home at the holding company level. The platform is stronger than ever before, and we’re just getting started.”
