Etihad Guest, Etihad Airways’ award-winning loyalty program, is celebrating a major milestone across India as the airline welcomes five new heavyweight loyalty partners to its rapidly growing program. The launch of the partnership was celebrated last night at a glittering event in Mumbai, attended by partners, media and stars of Bollywood.

India is the fastest growing membership base for the airline’s Etihad Guest loyalty program, which now has more than 13 million members worldwide. With the program adding more than 250,000 new members per month, Etihad is maximizing value for India-based members with a host of new loyalty partners that reward members for their daily lifestyle spend across shopping, dining and travel.

Etihad and BOBCARD are teaming up to launch a new co-branded credit card

Etihad Guest and BOBCARD Limited, the credit card subsidiary of Bank of Baroda, announce a strategic partnership to launch a new co-branded credit card that offers exceptional travel and lifestyle benefits to Indian travelers.

To celebrate the launch, new BOBCARD Etihad Guest members who sign up before February 28 will be rewarded with double welcome miles.

The BOBCARD Etihad Guest Credit Card is designed to provide Indian travelers with greater financial flexibility and world-class travel privileges. Through this alliance, Etihad Guest and BOBCARD aim to seamlessly link everyday spending with higher travel rewards, making international travel more rewarding and accessible than ever before.

The Postcard Hotel joins the Etihad Guest family

Acclaimed hoteliers, The Postcard Hotel, have entered into a partnership with Etihad Guest, a first for a Middle Eastern airline, rewarding luxury travel across the Indian subcontinent. Through this partnership, Etihad Guest members can now earn Miles every time they book and stay at one of The Postcard Hotel’s distinctive properties in India, Bhutan and Sri Lanka, unlocking more rewarding ways to experience authentic, destination-focused luxury.

The partnership brings together The Postcard Hotel’s signature brand of intimate luxury with Etihad Guest’s globally acclaimed rewards program and premium flight experience, offering travelers meaningful and memorable journeys. Etihad Guest members who stay two or three nights in a Postcard property will earn 2,000 Miles, while those who stay four nights or more will receive 4,000 Miles plus a free night.

In a special launch promotion, Etihad is rewarding all members who stay at The Postcard Hotel before February 28 with double Miles.

Joining forces with Flipkart

Etihad has entered into a strategic partnership with Flipkart, India’s own e-commerce marketplace, to benefit the millions of members of both loyalty programs. The partnership, which will go live in the coming weeks, will enable Flipkart’s strong user base of over 500 million people to redeem their Supercoins for Etihad Guest Miles, which they can redeem for a flight to their dream destination. Similarly, Etihad Guest members can also convert their Miles into Flipkart Supercoins to spend in the Flipkart ecosystem.

Providing convenience for Etihad Guest members with Swiggy

Swiggy, India’s pioneering on-demand convenience platform with offerings across food delivery, quick commerce and dining out, has also joined the program, delivering value to Etihad Guest members across India, thanks to Swiggy’s presence in over 700 cities in India.

As a reward for their loyalty, existing Etihad Guest members will immediately benefit from six months of free Swiggy One membership, the country’s only membership program that offers dining, fast commerce and dining out benefits.

Etihad Guest members will also soon be able to earn Miles on all spend on the Swiggy platform, rewarding members for everyday purchases that can quickly culminate in a wonderful holiday to Abu Dhabi.

Shoppers Stop India turns shopping into a holiday

Etihad is the first airline to partner with Shoppers Stop India, one of India’s largest department store chains. The retail giant offers more than 500 brands across fashion, beauty, accessories, fragrances, home decor and more, and operates both traditional stores and online.

In celebration of the partnership, existing Etihad Guest members can sign up for a free year of Platinum status on the Shoppers Stop First Citizen loyalty program, in a unique promotion for Shoppers Stop, running until February 15. In the coming months, Etihad Guest members will also be able to convert their purchases into flights by earning Etihad Guest Miles by spending at Shoppers Stop India.
