Emmy Sharrett came to BravoCon 2025 to promote Southern hospitalitybut she left with some welcome marriage advice from Lisa Barlow.

“It’s such a cool experience. I love meeting everyone,” Emmy, 27, shared exclusively We weekly on Saturday, November 15, while in Las Vegas for the annual three-day fan convention.

Emmy noted that one of her most exciting encounters was with The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Lisa, 50, and her husband, Johannes Barlow.

When Emmy wasn’t worrying about the RHOSLC power couple, she said she asked them “how they made it as a married couple on reality TV.”

Lisa told her, “It only makes you stronger.” And I just gave some marriage advice,” Emmy revealed. “She was very sweet.”

Lisa and John have weathered many storms during their 22 years of marriage, some of which they survived RHOSLC.

During season 3 of the Bravo show, rumors surfaced that Lisa was cheating on John, which he immediately shut down. During season 6 RHOSLCtheir relationship once again faced challenges, including rebuilding “trust” and Lisa admitted she felt like she was being “taken for granted.”

Emmy, meanwhile, is no stranger to dramatic reality TV relationships after putting her and her fiancé in the spotlight Will Kulp‘s romance in seasons 1 through 3 of Southern hospitality.

During season 3 of the Bravo show, Will, 30, was accused of cheating on Emmy during his law school prom. Although Will chose not to discuss the rumors on camera, Emmy was adamant Us in January that he was “100 percent” loyal.

Although Will received some criticism from his cast members for skipping the Season 3 reunion in February and seemingly leaving Emmy to defend their relationship, the couple is still going strong.

Although Will won’t be back for season 4, he proposed to Emmy in May and they are in the middle of planning their wedding.

“The wedding plans are going ahead,” Emmy said Us on Saturday, indicating it wasn’t an easy process. “It’s exhausting. It’s a lot.”

The reality star explained that after three of her high school friends planned weddings for next fall, she and Will are “still trying to find a date.”

However, Emmy doesn’t sweat the small stuff, explaining that she plans to have a “long engagement” and embrace this phase of her relationship.

“You’ve been single for a long time. You’ve been married for a long time. So, just getting engaged, you know?” she said. “I’m walking around [and] can just say, ‘Oh my god, I just got engaged.’ And that’s why it’s so much fun.”

Emmy’s road to marriage isn’t the only thing she’s embracing this year. The Bravo star shared Us that it was exciting to film Southern hospitality without her other half.

“It’s a lot easier to talk to one person instead of two. I love Will. I love having him around, but I think the audience really gets to see Emmy Sharrett,” she teased about Season 4 of the series. Southern charm spinoff. “I can really be myself and only think for myself instead of thinking for myself and my relationship and my fiancé. [I had a] a lot of independence.”

Emmy emphasized that Will is also happy that she is doing her own thing while he completes his law degree out of the spotlight.
