Cheryl Burke bombs in plastic surgery amid ‘new face’ rumors

For months from May the Dancing with the stars pro is constantly speculated about her unrecognizable appearance. But in May Instagram videoshe insisted that she was “not on Ozempic”, “not sick” and “not getting a ‘new face’.”

“Let’s talk about the elephant in the comments section,” Burke said on the clip as she removed her makeup. “I don’t take Ozempic. I’m not sick. I haven’t had a face transplant, and no, I haven’t had a brow lift.”

“The level of projection that is taking place that I am witnessing is wild,” she said, adding that people talk about her online as if she is “not a person.”

Burke said reading comments from people saying they miss the “old” version of her was the “most disappointing part.”

“The assumptions are just incredibly tiring,” she continued. “The allegations are completely cruel, and the fact that so many of them are actually coming from women, that’s what’s so shocking and hurtful to be quite honest.”

The professional dancer went on to say that her body and face have changed over the past two decades.

“I’ve been through so much trauma and divorce, and this is definitely not a pity party. Sobriety, burnout, reinvention, I’ve healed, I’ve lost, I’ve grieved like anyone else,” she added. “And yes, maybe it shows, but I don’t regret it, not at all.”

Burke concluded the post by reminding her followers that she is “still the same person who advocated for mental health and body image for many years. I just do it differently now than you might be used to. I’m quieter, I have boundaries and more discernment, and honestly, I don’t feel as safe as I used to.”

This is me at 41 years old. I’m still healing, still growing, and still choosing to show up. If you’re here to speculate, compare, or demand answers that you simply have no right to, you’re not welcome in the space I’ve created.
