Chase Infiniti says it was surreal working with Morgan Freeman in Audi Ad

Chase Infiniti has had quite the last year. The 25-year-old actress spent most of her time alongside Teyana Taylor, Leonardo DiCaprio and Benicio del Toro promoting the release of Paul Thomas Anderson’s ‘One Battle After Another’ and campaigning for the film throughout awards season.
Earlier this month, she received more praise for her “impeccable” work starring in “The Testaments,” Hulu’s new spinoff of “The Handmaids Tale.”
And then there’s Morgan Freeman.
Infiniti stars alongside the Oscar winner in a new commercial for the 2026 Audi Q3. Created by New Ogilvy and directed by Tilt Productions, the spot features Infiniti behind the wheel on an open-ended journey, with Freeman narrating, “She didn’t know where the road would leave,” before revealing he was a passenger in the car.
Infiniti said it was “totally surreal” getting to work with Freeman. “The first time I met him in person was when we were in the car for the first time,” she told me on Friday. “I thought, ‘Hi, I’m Chase. It’s so nice to meet you.’ I tried not to panic and be a fangirl while pretending to drive a car.
She didn’t have to worry about anything.
“His presence brings so much warmth and he is such a nice person and also very warm on set,” Infiniti said. “It was so special.”
Are you a good driver?
I like to think I’m a good driver. I like driving. I was in the car with one of my friends the other day and he said, “You know what? I should just let you get behind the wheel.”
Do you remember when you took your driving test?
I remember being so nervous. I remember being most nervous about parallel parking. Terrifying. But that’s my favorite thing to do now. I think that’s my superpower. However, if you see me in public parallel parking, please don’t look at me because it makes me so nervous.
What do you think when you hear, “She didn’t know where the road would lead”?
My character [in the commercial] begins in such a place of uncertainty, and throughout the story you see her slowly opening herself up to possibilities. I think this is something a lot of people can relate to. The same goes for the slogan: ‘A life of yes.’ I think it’s about trusting yourself and leaning into the fact that you may not know what’s going to happen in the future, but you’re willing to take that opportunity. You are willing to take that risk, to see what the world has to offer.
Is it scary or good not to know where the road leads?
Both. It’s something you can embrace. That’s one of the beautiful things about life, not knowing what’s going to happen.
Now that you’ve worked with Morgan Freeman, imagine the film you want to make with him.
I will do anything. I’ll be a waiter in the background. I deliver him his coffee, or I play barista when he goes to a café. Whatever I can do with him again, I would absolutely do it.
