Celestyal updates winter implementation with expanded Mediterranean program | News

Celestyal has expanded its current Mediterranean program with a deployment in the winter of 2026/2027.

The cruise line has confirmed it will cancel the Arabian Gulf season for winter 2026/2027. Instead, it will extend its current season in the Eastern Mediterranean with additional sailings via its two-ship fleet.

The 1,360-guest Celestyal Discovery will offer two additional sailings to the ‘Iconic Greek Islands’ in November 2026, followed by four more sailings to the ‘Iconic Greek Islands’ in March 2027.

The 1,260-guest Celestyal Journey will add four sailings in March 2027, consisting of two sailings in heavenly Greece, Italy and Croatia and two sailings in idyllic Greece.

Celestyal will also introduce a new Western Mediterranean program for winter 2026/27 and winter 2027/28 on Celestyal Discovery. Further details, including full itineraries and prices, will be shared shortly, with the new sailings going on sale from June 15.

Plans for winter 2027/28 on Celestyal Journey will be announced in due course.

Lee Haslett, Chief Commercial Officer at Celestyal, said: “Following a review of our winter deployment, we have decided to focus on strengthening our authentic Mediterranean offering. As a brand rooted in the region, these updates allow us to add more choice to some of our most popular routes and introduce brand new sailings to the Western Mediterranean for the first time.

“We know our guests love Celestyal for our warm hospitality, destination immersion and premium, casual approach to cruising, and this expanded program gives them even more opportunities to explore the region with us.”

All travel partners have been notified with updated information to support guests’ rebooking options.
