CELEBRITY CRUISES RELAUNCHES CELEBRITY SOLSTICE WITH EIGHT NEW EXPERIENCES | News

Celebrity Cruises’ revitalized Celebrity Solstice departed Singapore on March 2, unveiling eight new experiences, including four new-to-Celebrity spaces – Trattoria Rossa, Sunset Park, The Parlor and Boulevard Lounge – marking the start of the major revitalization of the cruise line’s Solstice Series ships. Improvements from bow to stern also include updated accommodations – with updates to all existing cabins, plus a further 54 cabins and four new categories of cabins, bringing the ship to a total of 1,479 cabins. The 2026 itineraries for the updated Celebrity Solstice will span Asia, Australia and Alaska, ahead of a historic 110-night Grand Voyage beginning September 13, 2026.

“Celebrity Solstice launched our Solstice Series ships and defined a generation of Celebrity Cruises travel. This new presentation honors that legacy while setting a new standard for what a luxury vacation can be,” said Laura Hodges Bethge, president of Celebrity Cruises. “Each new experience is designed around the way our guests want to spend their time, backed by the unparalleled hospitality that defines every Celebrity Cruises sailing.”

After sailing through Asia and Australia, the redesigned Celebrity Solstice will make its seasonal debut in Alaska in summer 2026. Beginning September 13, 2026, Celebrity Solstice will embark on The Grand Voyage: a 110-night voyage through more than 55 repeat ports in Alaska, the South Pacific, Australia, New Zealand and Asia, ending with a New Year’s Eve arrival in Hong Kong.

Sunset Park: the new outdoor destination on the top deck of Celebrity Solstice

Sunset Park is the new outdoor destination on the top deck of the ship. The open-air social area offers activities such as yoga, lawn games, live music and more, all with beautiful ocean views. New private cabanas offer shaded space to relax, specially designed to maximize views, while dedicated attendants attend to your every need.

The new Sunset Park Café offers casual bistro dining for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast serves a delicious range of sandwiches, quiches, pastries and other morning favorites, while lunch features fresh salads and wraps, as well as charcuterie boards available all day. Also on the upper deck, an extensive Sunset Bar offers handcrafted cocktails for guests to enjoy while taking in the views, making every hour a happy hour.

New restaurants: Trattoria Rossa and Fine Cut Steakhouse

Two new restaurants further expand Celebrity Solstice’s dining portfolio. New to Celebrity Cruises, Trattoria Rossa is an Italian restaurant serving Roman and Southern Italian cuisine. Guests can enjoy seafood, classic meat dishes and pastas prepared in-house daily, as well as tableside preparations including Chicken Parmesan and Caesar Salad.

Fine Cut Steakhouse, the Forbes Travel Guide-rated Edge Series guest favorite, joins Celebrity Solstice in offering 30 days of dry-aged steaks, fresh seafood and the personalized service Celebrity Cruises is known for across its fleet.

New entertainment: Boulevard Lounge, The Parlor and two new theater productions

Celebrity Solstice introduces two new entertainment venues: Boulevard Lounge, a 125-seat venue, offering all-day programming – from piano bar sing-alongs and karaoke to new game shows – with Boulevard Bar featuring handcrafted cocktails right next door, and The Parlor.

The Parlor, the ship’s new elevated sports and games lounge, is the perfect place for friendly competition over billiards, darts and old-fashioned board games – or to watch sport on the big screen. Enjoy a drink while you game with a selection of craft cocktails, including the signature Red Basil Smash (gin, lemon, basil and red wine), as well as Celebrity Cruises’ award-winning wines and whiskeys. Guests will also find shareable bites and elevated versions of comfort food classics like Shrimp Mac N’ Cheese and Celebrity’s Signature Burger, paired with delectable desserts including Caramel Bread Pudding, House-Made Beignets and a selection of over-the-top milkshakes.

Two production shows are making their Celebrity Solstice debuts at The Theater. Smoke and Ivories celebrates the iconic sound of the 1950s with piano entertainment, high-flying acrobatics and world-class singing; and Rockumentary, a live concert experience that recreates historic rock performances from decades past. Guests will also find new entertainment experiences throughout the ship, including a candlelight concert featuring live rock performances, illuminated by the soft glow of candlelight.

Stateroom upgrades: four new categories, updates to The Retreat and AquaClass

All existing staterooms on Celebrity Solstice have been fully upgraded and 54 new staterooms have been added for a total of 1,479 staterooms. Guests can also discover four new stateroom categories: the Panoramic Infinite Veranda Suite, two categories of Panoramic Ocean View Suites and the Deluxe Panoramic Ocean View. Guests of The Retreat, Celebrity Solstice’s exclusive suite class, will find a brand new sundeck with an oversized hot tub, dedicated outdoor seating and a redesigned private lounge.

AquaClass staterooms, Celebrity Solstice’s wellness-focused accommodations, have been updated with spa-inspired amenities including massage shower heads, aromatherapy diffusers, in-room yoga mats, premium bathrobes and slippers, and a pillow menu. AquaClass guests will also receive complimentary access to the newly remodeled exclusive Blu restaurant and The Spa’s Persian Garden, an expansion of the onboard wellness program that earned Celebrity Cruises the No. 1 ranking for Best Cruise Lines for Wellness from U.S. News & World Report.

Enhancements across the ship extend to returning locations: Café Al Bacio, Cellar Masters, World Class Bar, Martini Bar, Pool Bar, Passport Bar, the fitness center and Camp at Sea – in addition to Luminae, exclusively for guests of The Retreat.
