Thomas Rhett and his wife, Lauren Akinsbelong to the parents of celebrities who are open about their adoption experiences.
The country singer and his childhood love adopted their eldest daughter, Willa, from Uganda in May 2017, only three months before Akins gave the drill of daughter Ada. Since then they have welcomed two daughters, Lennon and Lillie.

This is what I really was to do. It was perfect in line with my heart. I had always wanted to adopt. My mother has actually been adopted.
