Bobby Berk called through Queer Eye -star Karamo Brown for HGTV -Show

Interior designer Bobby Berk was one of the original five hosts of Netflix’s reality show “Queer Eye” – aka de Fab Five – but left after season 8 in 2023 and is now ready to organize his own HGTV show. Earlier this summer there was a difficult timing with Berk’s HGTV announcement and the news that “Queer Eye” would end after the coming season 10.

Netflix announced on July 9 that “Queer Eye” will end after the 10th and final season, and the next day on July 10 HGTV revealed that Berk would organize a new show, entitled “Junk or Jackpot?” Berk appealed to the recoil about his announcement with People And revealed that his former ‘Queer Eye’ co-gastheer Karamo Brown called him about it.

“I have to say, I swear it on my mother’s life, my show statement date was set. No, this was planned. Lead announcements are not happening on a whim,” Berk said. ‘Even Karamo was like:’ Girl, the day after? ‘I am from:’ No, no, no. I promise you that it was already planned. ”

Berk said he had no idea that Netflix would drop the news about the ‘queer eye’ less than 24 hours before his own announcement.

“Some people had something like that:” Couldn’t you have waited? “And I have something like:” Well, yes, but no, “he said. “I mean, [Netflix] Could easily have given me a heads-up when that would be announced. I mean, I was in the show for [eight] Seasons, but yes, it’s fine. “

For the first eight seasons of ‘Queer Eye’, Berk was together with Brown, Tan France, Antoni Porowski and Jonathan Van Ness. In the aftermath of the exit of Berk he was replaced by HGTV Interieur expert Jeremiah Brent, who will complete two seasons in the show before it ends.
